Karl Brendel is a bachelor's student for Media Informatics at Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin. From early on he started developing interests in design and front-end development. He also started working on implementing geodata in web apps as a way of visualizing large amounts of data.
In October 2019 he participated at the Climathon Berlin and won, together with a team of 7 people, the urban mobility challenge by using open data to find out where the worst bicycle lanes in Berlin are.
In September 2019 he joined Datexis as a student worker.
