Welcome to the Laboratory of Functional Materials!
We synthesize nanomaterials and investigate their chemistry as well as their optical properties. Our focus is on the preparation and self-assembly of inorganic nanomaterials in combination with polymers in order to fabricate materials with new and exciting properties. Especially the application of the developed materials to optical biosensors is investigated by us.
