I teach the module 'Research and Current Developments by Digital Media' every winter term as part of the master study course 'Print and Media Technologies'.

The main objective of the unit is to reflect, to analyse, and to discuss different current and emerging media technoogies regarding their usage patterns, their target groups, their impacts on the 'world's' perceptions, on social behavior etc.

The topics range all the way from e.g. 'Potentials of Xtended Reality Technologies for Learning Purposes', to 'Usage Patters of Digital Media through Young and Elderly People' and 'Binge-Watching Phenomenon - Do We are already TV Series Junkies?' etc.

Almost every term's project has included a small survey based on interviews or/and small questionnairs.
