About

Kseniia Holovchenko is a Master’s student in Data Science at Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT), with a background in Computer Software Engineering and a strong interdisciplinary focus at the intersection of technology, design, and user experience. She joined the DATEXIS team in April 2026, where she is currently leading the complete redesign and technical modernization of the research group’s web presence.

Kseniia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine. Her academic journey includes a competitive Global UGRAD scholarship from the U.S. Department of State, through which she participated in an international exchange program at Missouri State University, expanding both her technical and cultural perspective.

Her professional expertise combines technical engineering with creative vision. Alongside her academic work, she has several years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer, working both in industry and as a freelancer. Kseniia believes that academic platforms should not be limited to delivering information, but should also provide a visually engaging and user-centered experience. Thoughtful design and strong usability help communicate complex research more clearly, while presenting institutions as modern, accessible, and appealing to students, researchers, and collaborators.

Outside of her academic and professional work, she enjoys playing the piano, which she studied at a music school. She also enjoys traveling and has a strong interest in fashion, which continues to influence her aesthetic sensitivity and design approach.
