Sebastian von Rohrscheidt has been enrolled in a Master's degree in Data Science at the BHT since the beginning of 2023, after completing his undergraduate studies in physics and philosophy in Freiburg. With a thesis at the Bernstein Center Freiburg, he became more interested in the modeling of neural networks and their applications in machine learning.
Although language models and artificial neural networks were not previously his primary focus, he was welcomed into the DATEXIS working group in the summer of 2023 and has been working there as a student assistant ever since.
In his spare time, he engages in the investigation of Berlin’s cultural landscape and the attendance of musical performances.
