Arndt Allhorn is a Senior Consultant with several years of professional experience in the field of Business Intelligence.
After graduating from the FHDW Hannover with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science for Business in 2012, Arndt specialized in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. While working in Data Warehouse projects for large customers in the automotive industry he developed a strong interest in machine learning, to gain more insights from the available data. Therefore, he went back to university and began studying the Data Science Master at Beuth in the winter semester of 2017, when this course was offered for the first time.
Arndt started working at the DATEXIS team as a Research Assistant in May 2019.
At DATEXIS Arndt is currently working on the project NOHATE funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The project aims to find solutions for the detection of hate speech in online discussions with the help of Deep Learning techniques. This is also the topic of his Master’s thesis.
In his spare time, Arndt enjoys riding mountain bike and gravel bike or practicing Ashtanga yoga and meditation.
