Janine Leona Schleicher is currently writing her Master’s thesis in Film Studies on theories of embodiment and perception in the context of post-traumatic stress disorders at Free University of Berlin, where she works as a freelance research assistant for Cinepoetics - Center for Advanced Film Studies.
Following her interest in digital humanities, data science and machine learning, she started studying Media Computer Science at Beuth University of Applied Sciences in 2018 and has been supporting DATEXIS as a student research assistant since May 2020.
In her spare time she is involved in the organisation of a music festival and enjoys diving, painting, cooking, as well as (somewhat compulsively) researching new areas of interest.
